Matt is one of Swing Out Adelaide’s co-directors. He started dancing swing in Adelaide in 2010 and instantly fell in love with it. Since then, he has travelled all over Australia and Europe learning various styles of swing era dances. (Collegiate Shag is an all-time favourite!) He has spent two years in London, teaching for Swing Patrol at Victoria Park. He was also a member of Swing Patrol’s performance troupe, the Skyliners, who performed and competing around Europe. This including a winning performance in the 2017 Savoy Cup in Montpellier!

He loves the music, energy and fun of swing dancing, as well as the opportunity to meet wonderful people all over the world!
