Latest news March 31st 2016

March is over already?! What! That means we have a brand new beginner course starting next Thursday night, the 7th of April. Open to complete beginners and no partner required, it’s a great way to throw yourself into this swing dancing thing, or to brush up on your basics if you have been dancing a while.
We have also decided to run our intermediate classes in short courses of 3 weeks, starting from April 7th. If you have suggestions for topics you’d like us to cover, please let us know via email or on our Facebook page. We’d love to hear from you!
We’re also very excited to announce we’re bringing back the traditional “graduation dances” following each beginner course, to celebrate our new dancers and introduce them to the community. The first one will be on May 19th, so save the date and stay tuned for details.

Estonian Hall, 200 Jeffcott Street, North Adelaide.

6.30pm Intermediate swing dancing: Tonight we’re going to consolidate some of the skills we have been working on in the past few weeks, and also take a closer look at some of the stuff you have been thinking about/working on lately. So bring your thinking cap!

7.30pm Beginner course – week 6: I can’t believe it’s our last class already! We have had so much fun working with you. We’re doing a recap of all the awesome things we’ve done, as well as some mad social skills to get you out on the dance floor if you haven’t been already. See you there!

8.30pm: Beginner taster class:  This intro to swing dancing will have you on the dance floor in no time. Wear comfortable clothes you can move in, and shoes that will stay on your feet (not thongs, ballet flats etc).

For more information about classes, check out our website.

Our 6 week course is a progressive look at lindy hop, teaching you all the skills you need to get out social dancing. You don’t need any experience or a partner to get started. As this course is progressive you do need to start in week one to join the course.
7.30pm. $15 per class or $75 for all 6 upfront. Click here to book online
