Latest news January 20th 2016

We are well and truly into 2016 now (agh!) and we’ve been having a wonderful time with you all in classes. We had a huge week one of our 6 week beginner course, and it’s always the best seeing everyone trying new things and having a good time. If you have been dancing some lindy hop already and want to start in Week 2 (this Thursday) send us an email or call 0402 273 745.
There seems to be a huge number of live music gigs at the moment – hooray! The calendar will only get busier as the Adelaide Fringe kicks off. We’ve listed off those we’ve heard of but if we’ve missed something feel free to post it to our page and we’ll include it. There really is nothing like getting out and dancing to some live music.
See you on the dance floor soon! Luna and Jarryd

Estonian Hall, 200 Jeffcott Street, North Adelaide.

6.30pm Intermediate swing dancing: Tomorrow night we’re working on making our rotational rocksteps and turns badass. We’ve got a few combos up our sleeve but as always encourage you to mix and match (2 x beginner courses are a prerequisite for this class).

7.30pm 6 week beginner swing dancing course (first one begins next week – Jan 14th): We started this last week, however if you’re confident with your lindy hop basic and want to join in tomorrow night just send us an email ( or give us a call (0402 273 745).

8.30pm: Beginner “taster” class: Our taster beginner classes are exactly that – a quick taste of swing dancing in a fun and relaxed environment! These classes run year round and are drop in, which means you can start them at anytime. They run for 30 minutes. No partner or experience required! This week we continue with 6 count Lindy aka “East Coast” swing.

For more information, check out our website.

Directly following our taster class is The Stomp – our social dance. Basically the way it works is our awesome DJs will play awesome music for you to do some awesome dancing! The bar will be open and there are spaces to hang out and socialise if that is more your thing.

Every Thursday 9.00pm-10.30pm
Estonian Hall, 200 Jeffcott Street, North Adelaide
$5 or free if you took a class that night
